Tower® Residential Sealant for Tyvek® (formerly DuPont™ Residential Sealant) is a durable, highly flexible, urethane-modified acrylic window sealant for general construction use. It is formulated to bond well with Tyvek® Building Envelope Solutions Products, and other DuPont™ construction products, as well as the most common building materials. As an integral part of a complete building envelope system, Tower® Residential Sealant helps control both air and water intrusion, to help make homes more comfortable, prevent water damage, and reduce heating and cooling costs.
Tower® Residential Sealant is proprietary polymer technology designed for use with Tyvek® Building Envelope Solutions Products. It has superior adhesion and durability with greater than 800% elongation. Easy to apply, this sealant forms a flexible, durable, and watertight seal that exhibits long-term superior adhesion to construction materials. Once cured, is mildew-resistant and exceeds the requirements of Fed. Spec. TTS-00230C, Type II, Class A; ASTM C-920, Grade NS, Class 25, and ASTM C-834 type OP, Grade-18˚C; complies with AAMA 808.3. Tower Residential Sealant is an all-purpose residential sealant recommended for use with all house wraps. Meets VOC requirements for all states.
