The BKC has received multiple inquiries about the use of DuPont™ Tyvek® Water Resistive and Air Barriers (WRB) over coated sheathing products. This bulletin explains that Tyvek® WRBs are suitable for this application and gives detailed instructions on how to install a Tyvek® WRB over a coated sheathing product with taped seams.
